I don't know what I would do without the Monsoon Room. The DJ keeps the atmosphere just perfect for me - not too crazy, not too mellow. If you're not into the club scene, but want a place with great music, friendly neighbors, and unique drinks, then this is your place! I'm always amazed at the variety of people that walk through the door, and they almost always know one another. It's like a hipster-Tacoma version of Cheers.

The drinks are pricey, for sure. Most are over $10 for the organic, fresh squeezed, etc. ingredients. But Happy Hour goes until 8pm! And the Lavender L'Amor stole my heart with its great scent and great taste sans the hangover the following day.

Since the new menu revamp this has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Tacoma! I had the salmon last time and couldn't believe how flavorful it was! They have great martinis, too! The ambiance is perfect for dinner after work to kick-off your weekend, then follow it with a walk along the waterfront. I wish I could afford a place at Thea's Landing, I would walk down for dinner all the time!

If you're looking for a meal full of flavor and a restaurant crammed with energy, this is it. The food is amazing and I will definitely be back. The only thing to be aware of is that this isn't your place to cozy up for a quiet, romantic dinner of whispering to one another.
