Zimbabwe Artists Project

The Tacoma Public Library is delighted to once again feature the bright, color art from the folk artists of Weya, Zimbabwe. This continues to be one of the most successful exhibitions which we host on a biannual basis The Zimbabwe Artist Project (ZAP) was created to assist and support the women folk artists and their families of this rural area in eastern Zimbabwe as well as to help the artists become more economically self-sufficient. The Zimbabwe Artist Project is located in Portland, Oregon.
