This monthly event features a Distinguished Writer followed by an Open Mic. This month features Scott Poole, the house poet for Live Wire!, a weekly radio variety show on Oregon Public Broadcasting that airs throughout the Pacific Northwest. He was the founding director of Wordstock. Following him is an Open Mic, sign-up is at 6:45 pm. The event occurs monthly the second Friday of every month at King's Books. Sponsored by the Puget Sound Poetry Connection and the Tacoma Arts Commission.
