In this combined camp with Metro Arts, students will have fun learning to conceptualize, shoot, and edit a short film documenting their artwork. They will experiment with found objects and traditional media to create their own two- and three-dimensional mixed-media artwork. Daily field trips around Tacoma, time in Metro Arts’ studio space, and exploration of Tacoma Art Museum’s exhibitions will offer inspiration for campers. The camp utilizes both organizations’ spaces throughout the week.
