RESTAURANT CRITIC ED MURRIETA SAYS:
Elegant and down-to-earth seafood, braised meats, steaks and chops served with style and wit in a soaring brick-lined dining room that glows with comfort and grace. Outstanding bar and happy hour menus, featuring chef Gordon Naccarato's playfully delicious blue cheese tater tots and a pork sloppy Joe that requires a knife and fork.

Since Pacific Grill opened, it has established itself as the Best Restaurant in Tacoma, if not the entire Northwest.
The quality and consistency of the food is outstanding. The seasonal offerings keep the menu fresh and interesting.
The service is always friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
Great atmosphere, classy without being overdone. It is our favorite place to be.
World Class in Tacoma!
This is our favorite place. My wife and I go weekly for happy hour. We are promptly greeted and waited on like we are royalty (even when wearing jeans and a T-shirt). The food is always great and is within our budget. Last week we had two appetizers. three drinks each and two desserts for under $50. The bartenders are always friendly and I usually have my Guinness poured before I can sit down. We have also celebrated our last two wedding anniversaries here. See you this weekend.
Keep up the great work!
I have made a full tour of Tacoma's Happy Hours, and can report that Pacific Grill has, bar none, the best in town. From the breadth of offerings, and full discounts offered, price alone warrants a visit. But they treat each order with the same consideration as a prime steak. Granted, word is out, and it can get busy. So bear with your bartender/server, and make sure you try the mussels, pacifica, sloppy joe, cheeseburger sliders, and the best grilled cheese in town. Some happy hours offer only discounted food, or vice versa. Pacific Grill offers dramatic discounts at both, and in a posh setting to boot. I keep bringing new people to check it out-and they all want to return.
Long live Happy Hour in Tacoma.
I do not think I would spend the money to eat there for a normal meal, but their bar menu during happy hour more than fills me up without spending much money.
I usually leave with a stomach full of amazing grilled cheese, house-made chips, delicious chutney, and two or three well drinks for around $15 (not including tip). Their well Vodka is by far the best of any other place I've been to around here.
The bartender is funny, and the atmosphere is nice. Long live happy hour!
