UW Music: French Connections: Paul Roberts, Oceana Quartet, and others

Paul Roberts of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, presents “Capturing the Illusive Image: The Debussy Preludes,” a lecture-recital on the piano music of Claude Debussy. The lecture is followed by a concert of works by Debussy, including Debussy’s Images, Book Two, String Quartet in G minor, Opus 10, transcriptions by Debussy and Fauré, and Debussy’s Petite Suite.
