Jerry Wayne

b. 1921, Buffalo, New York, USA. An actor and singer who had several US chart entries in the late 40s, including ‘A Little Bird Told Me’ (with Janette Davis), ‘Room Full Of Roses’, ‘You Call Everybody Darling’, and the 1948 US number 1 with the Ken Griffin and Hal Cotton arrangement of the German tune, ‘You Can’t Be True, Dear’ (‘Du Kannst Nicht Treu Sein’).
