The exciting jazz of the 33rd Street Quartet will kick off the new, Music with Spirit musical series on Sunday February 11. Designed to set the tone for your week, the concert series will include a mix of musical styles performed by individuals and groups in the area.
The jazz combo has performed in numerous coffee shops and for other functions since 2012. They play a variety of jazz standards including originals, swing, Latin and pop tunes.
All scheduled concert performances are scheduled on Sunday afternoons at 3 pm at the Puyallup United Methodist Church, 1919 W. Pioneer Avenue. There is a suggested donation of $20. For more information, call 253-845-0547.
Future concert performances include jazz pianist, Ronald Myers, Sr, April 15, Noted mezzo-soprano Nancy Hebert-Bach, June 24, Seattle Seachordsmen, August 12 and An Afternoon with Miki and Friends, a special concert featuring church musicians with piano/organ duets, vocal choir and handbells.
