MØ is the stage name of the Copenhagen-born electropop superstar born Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen. England's NME described her fierce sound an a cross between Siouxsie Sioux and Janet Jackson. She released her first single, "Glass," in 2013, followed quickly by her follow-up, "Pilgrim"/"Maiden." From there, her rise has been quick and steep. Her debut album, "No Mythologies to Follow," was released in 2014; and she has since appeared on a slew of singles, either her own or as a featured act on others' songs. MØ was featured on Iggy Azalea's 2014 single "Beg for It." Following that, she wrote and sang with Major Lazer on his smash 2015 single with DJ Snake, "Lean On"; it went No. 1 in four countries, No. 2 in three more, and No. 4 in the States. She recorded the single "Kamikaze," with Diplo producing; a track from her to-be-finihed second album, it came out in November 2015. In the summer of 2016, "Cold Water," another collaboration with Major Lazer, sung with Justin Bieber, went No. 1 in five countries and No. 2 in three others, including the U.S.
