The Brigham Young University Ballroom Dance Company's elegance and dancing expertise have led to its domination of the U.S. National Formation Dance Championships for 25 consecutive years.
In June 2008, the award-wining company participated in the opening of the Cultural Olympic Festival in Beijing, China, prior to the 2008 Summer Olympics, and then went on an 8-city tour of the country.
In 2007, the company competed at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival in England where they won the Standard Formation Championship and placed second in the Latin Formation Championship.
The 2008 tour, "Capture the Magic," will feature a variety of dances, including waltzes, swing, sock hop, and Latin.
