Ice Cube  - The versatile Ice Cube has expanded his base greatly from his initial breakout as a rapper in the late '80s. He first came to public notice as a rapper and songwriter with the controversial and influential N.W.A. before breaking away at the height of their national notoriety, and has since gone on to record several albums and many collaborations. Aside from music, Ice Cube has made an impact as a versatile actor, starting with his breakout role as Doughboy in "Boyz n the Hood." He created the "Friday" comedy franchise, starred in the "Barbershop" comedies, distinguished himself in "Three Kings," alongside George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg, starred with Kevin Hart in two "Ride Along" films, and starred in "xXx: State of the Union." A true silver-and-black Raiders fan, he also directed the ESPN "30 for 30" documentary "Straight Outta L.A.," chronicling the relationship between the then-Los Angeles Raiders and L.A. hip-hop through the rise of gangsta rap. And his son O'Shea Jackson Jr. played him in the 2015 N.W.A. biopic "Straight Outta Compton."

MxPx  - Formed in Bremerton, Washington, which lies in the middle of Puget Sound not far from Seattle as the crow flies, MxPx's brand of pop-punk helped create a large underground following with 1998's "Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo." Their 2012 album, "Plans Withing Plans," was released in 2012 and included a solid hit in "Cast Down My Heart." The band has legions of devoted fans and play to sold-out houses in and around Seattle, Nashville and other storied music towns.
