This hands-on course starts in the boatyard classroom with the basics of navigation, using both paper charts and electronic charting systems. You'll also learn about the Vessel Traffic System (VTS), and AIS (Automatic Identification System). The class finishes in the state-of-the-art wheelhouse of a 60' vessel while underway - where you will see the concepts of the class applied with modern electronic charting systems. Lunch included.
Children under 14 to be accompanied by a paying adult.
