Open Records and Public Participation
The League of Women Voters' Gig Harbor unit will meet from 2 to 4 p.m., March 9, 2013, at Harbor History Museum, 4121 Harborview Drive, in Gig Harbor. The agenda includes Open Records and public meetings, as well as Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (S.L.A.P.P.), which try to discourage critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense. The League meets on second Saturdays at the Harbor History Museum. For information, call Sharon Peace-Doane at (253)265-0841.
